INTRODUCTION

Digital photography is a form of photography that uses cameras containing a sensor to capture images focused by a lens, as opposed to an exposure on photographic film. The captured images are digitized and stored as a computer file ready for further digital processing, viewing, digital publishing or printing.

Although many will simply use their cellphones nowadays to point and shoot a photo, in this unit you will be learning the basics of digital photography and the exposure triangle. The concepts here will be used on DSLR cameras (although some point and shoot cameras have some of the same features).
